
If you are any kind of automotive enthusiast, you must visit the new Mustang exhibit at the Petersen Museum. The Petersen Automotive Museum in the Wishire District of Los Angeles is hallowed ground for all things Automotive and if you ever get the chance be sure to stop by for a visit, even if you have been before they are always celebrating different cars and eras. This past Saturday and Sunday the museum hosted a very special event called " Mustang Madness At The Petersen" where thousands of Mustangs enthusiasts drove their favorite pony cars to the museum for yet another post birthday bash. The Petersen used this event to launch a new exhibit called " Mustangs Forever: 50 Years A Legend"
The exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation, including some very rare and special Mustangs like the 1965 convertible that Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 March 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports and some Galpin aftermarket modified race cars and funny cars as well as some other limited-edition Ford Mustang models. The special display will run for the next six months
