2011-14 Mustang Performance Parts Video Series Part 1

Mustang fans were happy when Ford put a 5.0 engine back in the 2011 Ford Mustang for the first time since 1996. Now Mustang fans could say the 302 and 5.0 was back.
The aging 4.6 had had some good times and bad times, but the perception was that this new 5.0 Coyote engine would take the Mustang to a new level of horsepower and performance.
Well it has proved itself over the last 4 years to be the best production engine Ford has ever produced.
As soon as the 2011 Mustang GT was released the aftermarket performance manufacturers had a field day designing new products to add to more horsepower and improve the handling, suspension and braking of this new pony.
Brothers Performance has just finished up a 3 part video series that reviews some of the best products available to enhance your driving experience of any 2011-2014 Ford Mustang.
Take a look here at part one of our video series where Evan Smith reviews a host of performance parts on the Intake and exhaust side that you can buy and install yourself to add horsepower and improve acceleration.
In this episode Evan discusses and reviews a variety of cold air intakes from JLT, BBK, K&N and Airaid , BBK power plus throttle bodies and Airaid Throttle body spacers. To enhance the performance of all these parts Evan recommends installing some shorty BBK exhaust headers to help the engine breath and that you purchase a power flash tuners from either SCT and Diablosport – these tuners have many other functions beside tuning the car they are also required to calibrate the speedometer if your change tire and wheels combinations or change the rear axle gear ratio.
We will post part two of the series next week which will cover all exhaust modifications, the Boss 302 intake manifold, superchargers, nitrous oxide systems and the JLT oil separator.
