Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine are celebrating their years 25 year of publishing the magazine by building a one off "Fox Body" Ford Mustang appropriately painted silver for the anniversary and named "Hypersilver" This project car has been built from the ground up by all the editors from the Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords Magazine at their Tampa Florida facility over the last year. The car had a full rotisserie restoration and was built using parts supplied by the vehicles sponsors and other vendors that showcased how far the mustang aftermarket has come over the last 25 years in Mustang performance without going too over the top. The car is powered by a John Kaase P-38 crate engine resides. Based off a Ford Racing Boss 351 block, the 427ci engine, the V8 boasts fully forged internals, a stunning cross-ram intake and a set of BBK Performance ceramic coated 351 swap full length, long tube exhaust headers and match H pipe. It not only looks fantastic, but produces well over 600 horsepower as well. The exterior comes courtesy of Cervinis, who provides the front bumper, cowl-induction hood, Cobra side skirts and rear bumper and the Saleen-style rear wing. The Weld Racing 5-spoke S71 wheels really set the car off and the interior consists of a full custom roll cage, custom fuel cell, filler and fuel system, TMI upholstered seats, a fully integrated IPad, Kicker Audio system and very special retro modern custom Dakota digital gauges. The project has been covered in a number of issues this year and we understand the final installments shall be forth coming in magazine. Congrats to Editor in Chief, Evan Smith, and technical editor Mark Christ on a great project and amazing looking Fox Body Mustang can’t wait to see this car at the track and in some videos real soon.
