BBK Performance Open House And Car Show
BBK Performance held their annual Open House and Car Show Event last Saturday October 3rd and after taking a look at the photos of the event that they have published, It looks like they had a ton of American Muscle car and truck enthusiasts show up to support their event.
The weather was perfect and a good number of cars and trucks started to arrive around 8am to reserve their spots for the show off and shine car show and try and get their name on the dyno list.
To keep things interesting the BBK performance R&D dyno techs - Chris & Guy selected vehicles to dyno that would keep it interesting for everyone to watch in the outside viewing tent that provided a TV monitor to see the final HP and Torque numbers. They chose a wide variety of cars to test that included: A drag race Mustang, A Dodge Viper, Dodge Ram truck a Dodge Neon and a variety of Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes.
The event was catered by Tony's BBQ - AKA Fergusons BBQ who had the BBQ Smoker up and running by 9am for the lunch specials that would include tri tip and pulled pork sandwiches, apparently the food was so good they had pretty much sold out by 3pm - they said they will bring more next year!
A local DJ was the MC for the day’s proceedings that began at 10am sharp - he kept everyone entertained with a ton of great music and gave away BBK Performance raffle prizes every hour that included BBK work shirts , BBK varsity jackets and BBK Cold air induction kits - Everyone that attended the event also recieved a Free BBK Performance T shirt along with a mouse pad and BBK koozie.
They had over 200 plus parking spaces filled by 10am with every type of American Muscle car and truck you could imagine from all over southern California.
It was well attended by many Southern California car clubs that included the Camaro Club Of Temecula, 517Mustangs, 951Camaros, Stangzforlife, SoCal Mopar connected - SCMC and the SVT Lightning Club just to name a few.
The bottom line was they had some of the best looking cars and trucks at their event that included: Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, Vipers, Corvettes, Camaros, SVT Lightning’s, RAM Trucks and a few classics and oddities thrown in including a very powerful Dodge Neon that unfortunately blew up on the dyno and suspended testing while they mopped and cleaned up.
Other activities during the day included two personaly guided BBK shop tours hosted by CEO Brian Murphy and a BBK Performance exhaust sound off that attracted a good number of cars to see who had the loudest DB readings at the tail pipe of their cars or trucks - with a BBK gift certificate offered to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners at the conclusion of the event.
They are already planning a bigger and better event for next year so if you live in southern California - be sure to follow them on social media for updates on upcoming events:
