New Mustang Varitune Axle Back Exhaust Tested By 5.0 Magazine

Ever since BBK first showed their new Varitune adjustable performance mufflers at the SEMA show a few years back - we have heard that BBK has been flooded with requests from magazine and automotive editors to do the first install and independant test. Well Tech Editor KJ Jones at 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine was the lucky first recipient to install and dyno test the all new Varitune axle back exhaust system for the new coyote Mustang GT. A few weeks back KJ took the kit over to a local southern Californian Mustang specialist GTR Hi Performance in Rancho Cucamonga California to do the install and independant test at their facility and test it on their dyno. The kit was installed on a bone stock 12 Mustang GT 5.0 and from the results we see here in this article from the 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords October 2013 issue it looks like the new Varitune axle back system picked up a solid 10 Horsepower and 10 ft/lb torque at the rear wheels!
