Old and young alike have joined forces with Bodie and the rest of the BS industries crew and devoted themselves to hotrodding with a “Devil may care” attitude.
The shop has been featured in numerous performance automotive magazines including Hotrod Magazine, Classic Truck, Hotrod Deluxe and even a full episode of the famed HOT ROD TV show.
Take a look at this short documentary film called "The Real Thing" about how Bodie re-imagined a classic 1969 Mustang fastback by way of an extremely rare and powerful all aluminum 494 motor built specifically for legendary racer Mario Andretti's 1969 Can Am series race car. This huge engine is actually one of only ten made and puts out a massive 777 horsepower. To get all that power to the ground safely, Bodie actually changed the Mustang from a unibody to a chassis style car so the body actually lifts off like a truck - it is really a very cool build and great short video that is very well shot and edited.
The short film follows the complex and creative build from its early stages, through its initial test drive all the way to an unveiling in the Magnaflow booth at the 2013 SEMA Car Show in Las Vegas where Bodie comes face to face with Mario Andretti himself.
