This is what happens when you take out the trusty Ford small block 302 engine and replace it with a salvaged US navy jet engine from a Banshee fighter. The jet engine is so big it fills the car almost to a point where you can only just get a driver in it . Good luck steering it lock to lock !

The car was built by Ted Trischler near the Heinz plant in Pittsburgh. He bought the Mustang new as a body-in-white '67 fastback, Ted cut through the middle of the car to make room for the Westinghouse J34 jet engine. The front axle came from a '39 Plymouth, the brakes from a '58 Buick, the shocks are aircraft struts, and the twin parachute and throttle controls were designed for a Starcraft speedboat. Ted claims that this 67 Ford Mustang can hit 308MPH – we are willing to bet it gets a bit toasty inside the car, luckily there doesn’t appear to be any windows installed so at least there will be some fresh air but that must not help aerodynamics – this is one of the coolesty Mustangs we have seen in a while and its yours if you have the cash $30,000 on craigslist in Pittsburgh PA! We wonder if he ever built a Cobra Jet?
