We think this guy needs a wheelie bar on his Mustang, take a look at this drag race video shot this last weekend at the Georgia Motorsports Park - GA during qualifying for an Outlaw drag radial class. The cars owner and driver David Measell takes a wild ride and actually takes flight in his fox body Mustang as it runs about 100 feet down the track on the back bumper almost flying over the wall! After the race in an interview Dave said his team had just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower with a little spray in his 706! Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. This was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began. Unfortunately Wheelie bars are not allowed in this class so he needs to work on the aero!
