How to Install a BBK Performance Throttle Body on a 2011-14 Ford Mustang GT

Mustang enthusiasts have always enjoyed the advantages of simple bolt-on power parts. The 5.0 H.O. revolutionized performance in 1986, with BBK leading the way by providing cold-air kits, throttle bodies, and exhaust headers designed for the Mustang.

BBK Performance continues to produce affordable, high-performance parts made in the USA. For example, the 2011-14 5.0 Ford Mustang benefits from BBK's 85mm Throttle Body, delivering 8 to 12 horsepower gains with quick installation.

BBK’s 85mm Power Plus throttle body fits 2011-14 Mustang GT, Boss 302, and 5.0-liter F-Series trucks (They are also offered for 2014-current Ford engines as well). The BBK TB works with OEM and aftermarket cold-air intakes, click the part number for pricing and availability: BBK 1821

BBK Throttle Body with box and instructions
BBK Power Plus 85mm Throttle Body kit for the 5.0 Coyote engine provides all necessary components for a convenient installation process. This encompasses the new throttle body, bolts, a BBK sticker, and detailed instructions.

Features include an electronically controlled injection molded plastic gear assembly designed to work seamlessly with your drive-by-wire system, plus you get all the necessary hardware and installation instructions.

Stock Coyote engines produce between 420 and 435 horsepower in their factory configuration, but upgrading to a BBK throttle body can enhance airflow to your intake and four-valve heads, unleashing significant power. Additionally, a Power Plus throttle body offers improved throttle response and increased torque.

Crafted durably, BBK Power Plus-series throttle bodies are formed from new 356 aluminum alloy, fully CNC-machined for a sleek appearance and OE-level function. Each BBK throttle body is meticulously assembled to aircraft standards at BBK’s advanced manufacturing plant in Deland, Florida.
